World Vision International (New) is seeking a Finance Specialist to manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and project finance reviews in a dynamic NGO environment. You will ensure donor compliance, reporting accuracy, and timely financial close across offices and programs.

The role requires 2–3+ years in finance, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and experience with multinational operations. Collaboration across multicultural teams and external audits is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as MS Dynamics and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and relationships between multiple data sources.
• Minimum 2-3 years of extensive experience in all areas of finance and accounting, preferably within an international NGO, multilateral organization or audit/accounting environment.
• Minimum 6 months experience working or supporting people offshore.
• Has experience in working with people from different levels and functions in the organization.
• Has substantial and successful experience working in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed work environment and is able to work with several functional managers or stakeholders.
• Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not required)
• Advanced skills or experience in Power BI, PowerPivot and Power Query
• Skilled in reconciling financial data across multiple systems
• Experience inputting and interpreting financial data across a variety of systems in a complex environment.

Aufgaben

• Process intercompany billing invoices and pre-approvals in the accounting system.
• Prepare reconciliations including accruals and general ledger accounts and ensure timely clearance.
• Handle funds transfer planning and settlements; prepare transfer lists.
• Ensure payment of hedges.
• Prepare tax reports per guidance.
• Process funding commitments in budget system and manage funding shifts.
• Investigate issues and review GL before year-end close.
• Support the office during external audits.
• Conduct regular project finance reviews for donor compliance and reporting.
