Job summary

World Vision Philippines seeks a Finance Specialist to ensure accurate processing of intercompany transactions, month-end and year-end closes, and grant-funded project reporting in line with donor and World Vision requirements.

The role requires at least 2–3 years in finance, advanced Excel, MS Dynamics, Power BI, and the ability to work with diverse teams across offices. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or University Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as MS Dynamics and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and relationships between multiple data sources.
• Minimum 2-3 years of extensive experience in all areas of finance and accounting, preferably within an international NGO, multilateral organization or audit/accounting environment.
• Minimum 6 months experience working or supporting people offshore.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders and multiple levels of the organization.
• Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not required).
• Advanced skills or experience in Power BI, PowerPivot and Power Query.
• Skilled in reconciling financial data across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Process intercompany transactions and prepare invoices and pre-approvals.
• Perform month-end and year-end closes and related reconciliations.
• Prepare tax reports and funding/budget system entries.
• Assist with grant-funded project reviews and reporting for donors.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.
