Job summary

Dynata in Cebu, Philippines is seeking a Team Lead, GL to oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Hybrid work setup; you will supervise Senior Accountants and Accountants, review journal entries and reconciliations, and drive accurate financial reporting.

You will be the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, ensure US GAAP and SOX compliance, and partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury to resolve issues and support strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in GL accounting and month/quarter/year-end closes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls.
• Experience coordinating internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities globally and ensure timely deliverables.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and other GL tasks.
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aging items and exceptions.
• Supervise and coach Senior Accountants and Accountants; support onboarding and development.
• Coordinate audit requests and ensure audit readiness of records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls; drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Support special projects, integrations, and automation initiatives.
