Dynata Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. The role involves reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.

You will oversee staff, coordinate audits, and drive improvements across the accounting function. The position emphasizes US GAAP compliance, SOX controls, and collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and business partners to support

Responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids and other GL activities prepared by team members
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items, aged balances, and exceptions
• Supervise and provide day-to-day guidance to Senior Accountants and Accountants
• Assist with onboarding, training, and employee development
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Coordinate audit requests, support annual and statutory audits, and ensure audit readiness
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls and SOX requirements
• Identify control gaps and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, A/P and stakeholders to resolve issues and support reporting
• Drive process improvements and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy across accounting
