Job summary

CORE Stagwell in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to head GL accounting within our Shared Services group. You will guide close processes, coordinate with AR, AP, and payroll, and deliver timely financial results to the leadership team.

The role requires a CPA or equivalent, a degree in accounting, and 5–7 years of accounting experience including people management. Strong Excel, GAAP knowledge, and intercompany reconciliation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years managing an accounting team.
• 5-7 years accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day general ledger operations.
• Coordinate AR, AP, Billing inquiries and related follow-ups.
• Review monthly close entries and GL reconciliations.
• Oversee accounting staff to ensure timely close and reporting deadlines.
• Prepare/analyze audit schedules and assist with year-end tax work.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation processes.
