Job summary

Abbott is looking for a GL Accountant based in Taguig, Philippines, responsible for managing period-end close activities and preparing account reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have a B.S. in Accountancy, preferably CPA, with at least 3 years of RTR experience in a shared services environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of RTR experience in a complex multi country, shared services environment.
• Experience in specialized accounting such as Treasury, inventory, and product costing is an advantage.
• Clear understanding of US GAAP and ability to apply knowledge in day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage period‑end‑close activities.
• Assist Local Finance Stakeholders with audit requirements.
• Prepare Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Resolve issues proactively.
