Job summary

PGS Logistics Philippines, Inc. is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive new business locally and internationally.

You will expand our customer base, build lasting partnerships in freight forwarding and logistics, and promote our comprehensive services including air and sea freight, customs clearance, and warehousing. Qualifications

• Proven business development or sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Experience developing local customers and international business relationships.
• Good understanding of international air and sea freight, Incoterms, and shipping procedures.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to generate leads, close business, and manage accounts independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in local and international markets.
• Develop new accounts with Philippine importers, exporters, manufacturers, and other potential customers.
• Build relationships with overseas agents, partners, and PGS offices to generate inbound, outbound, and cross-trade business.
• Leverage PGS networks to develop new business and strengthen overseas agent relationships.
• Promote air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and project cargo services.
• Conduct prospecting, client visits, sales presentations, and follow-ups to convert leads into active accounts.
• Prepare proposals and quotations in coordination with operations and overseas partners.
• Negotiate rates and terms while maintaining healthy margins.
• Meet revenue and gross profit targets and maintain an active sales pipeline.
