Job description

Responsibilities

• Vendor Coordination & Management: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers and carriers for international freight forwarding services.
• Support contract negotiations, rate discussions, and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Track supplier performance and coordinate issue resolution to maintain service quality.
• RFQ/RFP & Cost Management: Assist in preparing and managing requests for quotations (RFQs) and proposals (RFPs).
• Work with internal teams (logistics, operations, and finance) to consolidate requirements and assess supplier proposals.
• Monitor and analyze transportation costs, including freight rates, fuel surcharges, and additional charges.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and maintain procurement and supplier performance data.
• Prepare regular reports on key procurement metrics, cost-saving opportunities, and vendor performance insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, vendor coordination, or supply chain management, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
