Job summary

Merck Group in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Finance Performance Management lead to design, implement, and optimize a transparent framework across Finance and enabling functions. You will translate strategy into measurable objectives and drive data-driven insights for senior leadership.

You will coordinate data collection, validate results, and support action plans, collaborating with global teams and diverse business sectors to improve performance and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT or related field.
• Master degree is a plus and international exposure is valued.
• Minimum 5 years in Finance, performance management or transformation.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across functions and regions.
• Experience in global/shared services or complex corporate environments.
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive a transparent Finance performance management framework.
• Translate strategy into measurable performance objectives for Finance services.
• Coordinate collection, validation and interpretation of performance data.
• Support analysis, root-cause identification and action planning.
• Distinguish topics requiring structural changes from routine improvements.
• Review measures with Finance leadership and process owners.
• Conduct external benchmarking to set ambitious yet realistic targets.
• Join or co-lead performance review sessions with stakeholders.
• Interpret sector needs to tailor KPIs and insights for business sectors.
• Build trusted relationships with sector leadership and partners.
