Merck Kgaa in Philippines seeks a Manager, General Accounting Operations to lead the General Ledger team and drive strategic performance. You will steer end-to-end accounting, including month-end closes, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver accurate financials.

You will also focus on people management, upskilling, and Lean process improvements, transforming the operating culture while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Formación

• CPA/CMA with 15+ years in general accounting in a multinational environment.
• Hands-on ERP experience, preferably SAP, and project management certifications are a plus.
• Ability to envision team development and manage complex stakeholder expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for the General Ledger team and drive workforce upskilling.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting processes, month/quarter/year-end closes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage cross-functional collaborations, handle escalations, and ensure on-time, accurate reporting.
• Lead process transformation initiatives, Lean culture adoption, and knowledge retention.
• Ensure business continuity with risk controls, documentation, and training materials.
