Job summary

Argus is seeking an enthusiastic Events Operations Manager to oversee logistics and deliver a diverse portfolio of international events from planning to on-site execution. You will lead the on-site team, coordinate with venues, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a high-quality attendee experience and brand alignment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years’ experience in logistics coordination for marketing events, business events or conferences.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to network
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Process driven and skilled problem solver.
• Able to use initiative and take ownership of projects as well as work as part of a team.
• Excellent co-ordination, organisational skills and time management skills.
• Experience of researching and analysing event data and recommending improvements.
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Own decisions related to logistics: supplier choices and on-site leadership from start to finish.
• Conduct market research and negotiate with venues and suppliers for forums and 3rd party events.
• Manage contracting through to signed contracts and liaise with legal.
• Work with Product & Regional Marketing on event promotion.
• Track event budgets and keep within budget while ensuring high attendee experience.
• Organise and produce onsite signage, merchandise, and printed materials.
• Report on event spend and performance against metrics.
• Build internal relationships for commercial alignment and event coordination.
• Maintain client experience and brand exposure throughout event delivery.
