Job summary

FINSIGHT is seeking an experienced people leader to run a pod of event producers, own the performance, and carry your own workload. Your team will learn from your standards as the department grows, with day-to-day performance management and hiring/dismissals in partnership with the Regional Director.

This role focuses on managing and developing people, reporting to the Regional Director and collaborating with upper management and other Team Leads.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of direct people management experience with responsibility for at least 3 direct reports.
• Ability to deliver critical feedback, manage underperformance and participate in terminations.
• Maintain composure and discretion when handling confidential client material and escalations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; able to communicate with global offices and leadership.
• Detail-oriented and reliable under time pressure; deadlines are fixed to event start times.
• Proficiency in general software and the ability to learn a live production stack quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage pod scheduling, include PTO, sick leave, and attendance policy adherence.
• Handle escalations, non-standard client requests and live event issues.
• Oversee event moderation, bookings, mocks, and teach-ins.
• Ensure clean handoffs between shifts and teams.
• Run onboarding and training; track proficiency against roadmap.
• Conduct monthly 1:1s and maintain performance records for direct reports.
• Identify and address high/low performers; implement corrective actions or PIPs.
• Support career mapping and skill development across the team.
• Address behavioral issues and enforce core values in hiring and coaching.
