Job summary

V2X Inc in Subic, Philippines seeks an Expediter to manage customs clearance for US Government owned goods, ensuring compliance with local laws and coordinating with freight forwarders and government agencies. You will work under the Logistics Coordinator II to facilitate efficient import/export operations.

Responsibilities include preparing documents, tracking clearance, and advising customers on regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Two years of experience in Customs Clearing or freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of local customs regulations and import/export requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide approvals for customs exemption of all US Military and Government Owned goods in accordance with the Defense Cooperation Agreement and ensure compliance.
• Authorize clearance of express carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) shipments and verify contents at delivery sites.
• Advise customers on import/export restrictions and up‑to‑date regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with shipping agents to meet applicable regulations and obtain approvals.
• Notify customers of approvals and arrange document handover for off-post locations when needed.
• Provide tracking of clearance progress and address delays or disapprovals.
• Maintain a database of forms processed and ensure daily shipment visibility.
• Maintain ARIMS filing system and perform other duties as assigned.
