Qualifikationen

• High school diploma and fluent English required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in customs clearing or freight forwarding.
• Must obtain host nation driver’s license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interpret regulations.

Aufgaben

• Provide approvals for customs exemption of US Military and Government goods; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Authorize clearance of express carriers and verify onboard contents at delivery location.
• Advise customers on import/export restrictions; stay updated with laws and policies.
• Liaise with shipping agents and freight forwarders to meet regulatory requirements.
• Notify customers of approvals and arrange document handoff when needed.
• Provide tracking of clearance progress and address delays or disapprovals.
• Maintain ARIMS filing and daily shipment detail records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
