Job summary

V2X, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an Expediter to handle customs clearance for US Government Owned goods.

You will work under the Logistics Coordinator II to ensure compliance with local laws, coordinate with agencies, and arrange transportation, warehousing, or distribution of imports and exports. The role requires two years in customs clearing or freight forwarding, strong communication, and the ability to navigate restrictions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must speak, write and read English.
• Host nation driver's license is required.
• Two years of experience in customs clearing or freight forwarding operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide approvals for customs exemptions of US Military and Government Owned goods.
• Authorize express shipments clearance and verify truck contents.
• Advise customers on import/export restrictions and requirements.
• Liaise with shipping agents to meet regulations and policies.
• Notify customers of approvals and arrange document collection.
• Provide tracking of clearance progress and monitor delays.
• Maintain ARIMS filing system and shipment database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
