Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Specialist in the Philippines. The role involves preparing customs entries, ensuring accurate data entry, and timely customs clearance for shipments.

You will interact with customers and coordinate with internal teams to meet KPI standards. Candidates should have knowledge of customs brokerage and documentation for ocean, road, and air shipments, with strong organizational and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customs brokerage process and related legislation.
• Understanding of ocean, road and air documentation.
• Pro-active approach with strong organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entries in Customs ware.
• Understand import/export SOP elements and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure timely data entry into operating systems and facilitate clearance.
• Monitor clearances and communicate with customers; meet KPI standards.
• Escalate issues to management when needed; participate in trainings (52 hours/year).
