Job summary

Ibex Limited in Manila is seeking a Project accounting specialist to support the construction accounting team globally, recording and analyzing financial data, and preparing reports in a paperless environment.

You will establish project cost tracking in Yardi, reconcile to the general ledger, manage supplier payments, and help with month-end processes while ensuring control standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage Project Cost Tracker (PCTs) via Yardi Job Cost implementation date.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to reconcile PCTs to general ledger monthly.
• Chair monthly project cost review meetings with project stakeholders.
• Manage invoice processing and ensure timely payment of suppliers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely payment distribution while maintaining internal controls.
• Provide compliance guidance (SOX, policy) to stakeholders on project controls and standards.
• Assist in month-end tasks including reconciliation, journal processing and accrual calculation.
• Assist the Director of Construction Accounting with system configuration/integration and process optimization for emerging markets.
• Lead day-to-day portfolio integration into Yardi Job Cost subledger from PCTs.
