Job summary

Grand Apex Constructions Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate to manage daily accounting transactions, process invoices and payments, and monitor project expenses across construction sites in the Philippines.

The role requires a degree in accounting and 2-3 years of construction industry experience, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of BIR requirements. You will maintain clear financial records and assist with month-end reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in construction recommended.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and BIR requirements.
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and process daily accounting transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
• Monitor project expenses and accounting documents.
• Process cash advances and liquidation.
• Assist in billing, collection, and payment processing.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist with BIR compliance and audit requirements.
