Job summary

IBEX Global Solutions (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a Project Accounting Specialist to enhance financial control for global projects. You will partner with the construction accounting team to apply accounting principles, analyze financial information, and prepare reports in a paperless environment.

You will reconcile costs, manage invoices, ensure internal controls, and support month-end tasks while collaborating with local finance teams and stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data and perform quantitative analyses.
• Experience in processing adjusting journal entries and reclassifications.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage Project Cost Tracker (PCTs) through Yardi Job Cost implementation date.
• Reconcile PCTs to general ledger for all portfolios monthly at minimum.
• Chair monthly project cost review meetings with stakeholders; prepare consolidated cost summaries.
• Manage invoice processing and ensure timely payment of suppliers.
• Ensure timely payment distribution to suppliers while maintaining internal controls.
• Provide compliance guidance (SOX, company policy) to stakeholders for project controls and global standards.
• Assist in preparing project funding reports, cashflow forecasts and loan draw submissions; support month-end tasks (reconciliation, journal processing, accruals).
• Assist Director of Construction Accounting with Yardi Job Cost configuration and process optimization; lead portfolio integration into Yardi subledger.
