Job summary

RemotePass is hiring a Benefits Specialist to own global benefits for our lifecycle team. You’ll run renewals across countries, scope new plans, and keep enrolments accurate while collaborating with brokers, insurers, and internal teams. A strong background in health insurance and multinational benefits is essential.

You will navigate diverse regulatory environments, drive compliant, cost-effective plans, and help shape scalable benefits processes as our remote workforce grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in employee benefits, benefits administration, insurance, or HR operations
• Strong knowledge of health insurance; life, disability, pension, and wellness benefits are a plus
• Hands-on experience managing benefits renewals or new plan implementations
• Experience reviewing plan proposals and comparing coverage and pricing with brokers or insurers
• Benefits experience across multiple countries with understanding of jurisdictional differences
• Background in EOR, PEO, global mobility, HR tech, international payroll, or insurance brokerage is a plus
• Analytical skills to assess pricing, plan structures, and proposals
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to run multiple renewals and projects
• Fluent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Own benefits renewals and manage the global renewal calendar, reviewing terms, pricing, and coverage
• Scope and launch new plans by researching local market practice and statutory requirements
• Keep enrolment and administration accurate; coordinate with Payroll, Finance, and Legal for billing and invoicing
• Answer employee and client queries; provide guidance on statutory vs supplemental benefits
• Manage brokers, insurers, and partners; be the main contact for complex issues
• Track market changes and flag implications for plans and coverage
• Standardise benefits processes to scale with a growing workforce
