Job summary

Emapta, based in Makati, Philippines, is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage overdue accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and communicate clearly with international stakeholders. The role offers hybrid flexibility with 3 days onsite in Makati and a probationary full onsite period.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance operations, strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in financial systems, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance preferred.
• 5+ years in finance operations, preferably in collections, cash application, accounts receivable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, billing processes, and end-to-end revenue cycle.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, with professional business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send accounts receivable statements and collection letters.
• Track outstanding invoices and debtor balances.
• Support Revenue Control Assistants with collections activities.
• Coordinate with Revenue Controllers for additional collections support.
• Record all customer communications in the systems accurately.
• Escalate outstanding issues and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Process accounts receivable write-offs and review debt provisions for accuracy.
