Job summary

Remitly PHL OPERATIONS INC is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Global AP Team in Greenfield, Mandaluyong. The role focuses on validating invoice processing across multiple subsidiaries and currencies, performing flux analyses, and supporting audit requests.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and experience with NetSuite; AI tools familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate invoice processing accuracy across multiple subsidiaries and currencies, identifying errors and coordinating with processors.
• Perform flux (variance) analyses.
• Prepare audit requests and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
• Review purchase requisitions prior to conversion into purchase orders; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax filings where applicable (e.g., BIR).
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
