You will mentor analytics professionals, collaborate with Data Engineers and stakeholders, and promote automation and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence and improve reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience leading analytics, reporting, or BI teams.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

The Global Analytics Operations Lead is responsible for leading a team of Data Analysts and Report Analysts in delivering accurate, timely, and actionable business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role oversees reporting operations, ensures data quality and integrity, manages reporting requests and incidents, and collaborates with business stakeholders and Data Engineers to develop innovative analytics solutions. The Global Analytics Operations Lead also drives continuous improvement initiatives, mentors team members, and promotes operational excellence through effective leadership and data-driven insights.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Data Analysts and Report Analysts to achieve operational and business objectives
• Communicate project priorities, expectations, and work assignments to team members
• Provide technical guidance, training, and ongoing support to enhance team performance and development
• Monitor team scorecards, productivity, and performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback as needed
• Partner with management to support employee career growth, development planning, and performance management
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, analytics initiatives, and new reporting solutions
• Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that improve operational performance
• Manage reporting requests, including report execution, change requests, custom reporting, and incident resolution
• Investigate data integrity issues and Business Intelligence reporting incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Present analytical findings, business insights, and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and dashboards
• Identify and implement reporting automation, process improvements, and best practices to increase operational efficiency
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and promote collaboration across teams and departments
• Ensure reporting accuracy, data quality, governance compliance, and adherence to established standards

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience leading analytics, reporting, or business intelligence teams
• Strong knowledge of SQL query writing and relational databases
• Solid understanding of database architecture, Business Intelligence concepts, and reporting methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects, and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a systematic approach to issue resolution
• Understanding of data quality principles and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to business users
• Excellent leadership, coaching, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with reporting automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization is highly preferred
