Job summary

FedEx Express México is seeking an Airfreight Coordinator based in Mexico City to manage daily interactions with airlines, carriers and customers within Imports and Exports operations. The role focuses on coordinating bookings, monitoring service performance, and preparing export documentation to ensure smooth cargo flow.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience in airfreight coordination, strong leadership and bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience interacting with airlines in Imports and Exports operations at warehouse, airport ramps operations.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent English and Spanish with effective communication, written and verbal.
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database analysis.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with FedEx ramps, air carriers, trucking companies, customs brokers and customers.
• Monitor and coordinate with business partners; identify and resolve service failures.
• Oversee booking process between FedEx and airlines/carriers/vendors.
• Prepare export documentation and certificates of origin as required.
• Coordinate routing and capacity distribution with FedEx ramps and carriers.
• Communicate status updates to customers and overseas offices; track departures/arrivals.
