Job summary

BCM One is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our global finance team in Makati. This hybrid role supports auditing invoices, processing vendor payments, and cross‑functional cost reduction with the US team.

You will handle high‑volume AP tasks, ensure timely payments, coordinate with Revenue Assurance, and maintain vendor relations while working a night shift in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance related course from a reputable college or university.
• Willing to be flexible with work hours to accommodate international needs.
• Must work night shift.
• 2 - 5 years of demonstrated experience managing invoice payments or an accounts payable portfolio.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively assist with adherence to deadlines, attention to detail and strong problem solving and decision‑making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent Customer Service skills required, including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
• Exposure to Billing OSS, QuickBooks, API Order tool, SAPFICO, Oracle ERP, etc. preferred.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify invoices for accounts with high-volume transactions with minimal supervision.
• Processes Vendor invoices through the Payment System Workflow validating charges to be accurate.
• Identifies charges that need to be passed through to the Revenue Assurance Team for customer billing.
• Files and records vendor disputes and follows up with vendors on a timely basis to ensure credit/refunds.
• Timely recording of all payable transactions, including verification and accuracy of GL coding into accounting tool.
• Reconcile vendor accounts per audit request.
• Performs validation of new charges with help from research and other departments.
• Notify Supervisor about due dates and submit invoices for approval at least 7 business days before due date.
• Work with Revenue Assurance to determine new invoices/charges for payment.
• Handle vendor concerns and inquiries while sustaining vendor relationships.
• Enter credit card charges in the accounting tool weekly/monthly.
• Manual pull of vendor invoices from vendor websites and submit it to payment workflows.
• Create new BAN accounts in the system for new invoices.
• Pay invoices via online or phone and record transactions in the system.
• Other duties as required.
