Job summary

GSS HR Solutions Private Limted is seeking a German-speaking IT Service Desk Specialist to join our team in Manila, Philippines. This full-time role requires L1 support, strong communication, and the ability to work in 24/7 rotational shifts.

You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, MS Office/M365, Active Directory, and use ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy or Jira. Fluent German is mandatory, and English proficiency is required to coordinate with international users.

Qualifications

Fluent German – Spoken & Written (Mandatory)
Good command of English
2+ years of IT Service Desk / Technical Support experience
Knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Office/M365 and Active Directory
Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts

Responsibilities

Provide L1 IT support via phone, email, chat and ticketing systems
Troubleshoot Windows OS, laptops, desktops and MS Office/M365
Support VPN, network connectivity, printers, password resets and account access
Log, track and resolve incidents/service requests using ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira or similar ITSM tools
Communicate with users in German and English
Follow ITIL processes and SLA requirements
Initiate/drive Major Incidents and elevate issues to L2/L3 teams
Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge-base articles
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism
