Job summary

ALC Group of Companies in Makati, Metro Manila is seeking a licensed Geodetic Engineer to lead surveying for land development projects, ensuring accuracy of data, control points, and layouts.

You will work with project teams, consultants, contractors, and government agencies from site development to completion, performing stakeouts, earthwork surveys, as-built documentation, and preparing technical survey reports.

Qualifications

About the role

Responsible for all surveying works required for the planning, development, and construction of land development projects. The position ensures that survey data, control points, and construction layouts are accurate and in accordance with approved plans and project specifications. Work closely with the project management team, design consultants, contractors, and government agencies to support project implementation from site development through project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks throughout the project.
• Ensure that all Ground Control Points (GCPs) are regularly checked and monitored to maintain survey accuracy.
• Conduct topographic, relocation, boundary, and verification surveys as required by the project.
• Perform stakeout surveys for roads, drainage systems, utilities, buildings, and other site developments based on approved plans.
• Provide line and elevation references for all construction activities to ensure that works are executed in accordance with the approved plans and design levels.
• Conduct pre-earthworks and post-earthworks surveys to establish existing and finished ground elevations.
• Perform cut-and-fill surveys, compute earthwork quantities, and verify excavation and fill volumes for project monitoring and contractor billing.
• Conduct as-built surveys to verify completed works and prepare the necessary survey documentation.
• Process field survey data and prepare survey plans, maps, sketches, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project personnel regarding survey requirements.

About you

• Licensed / Registered Geodetic Engineer with a valid PRC ID (passed the Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination).
• Proven experience as a Geodetic Engineer specializing in land development, site grading, roadworks, utilities, and construction layout.
• Proficiency in operating modern surveying equipment.
• Proficiency in survey software.
• Strong working knowledge of land laws, DENR regulations, LRA standards, and land titling procedures.
• Expertise in control point establishment, cut-and-fill volume computations, earthwork quantity verification, and as-built documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise field survey crews, coordinate with project stakeholders, and work effectively with government agencies.
