We are looking for a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our plant operations. This role requires a strong leader who can drive performance, ensure operational excellence, and align plant functions with overall company objectives.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production, quality, safety, and financial goals.
• Develop and implement plant strategies aligned with company objectives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee cross-functional departments within the plant including production, maintenance, quality control, logistics, and plant finance.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and corporate standards across all plant activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to optimize throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and sales departments to align production schedules with customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Lead and support the development of department managers and team leads, encouraging professional growth and succession planning.
• Implement risk management practices to safeguard operations and business continuity.
• Maintain effective communication with corporate leadership and provide regular reports on plant performance, challenges, and strategic plans.
• Manage the plant’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are optimally allocated.
• Drive engagement and alignment among employees through transparent communication and a shared vision for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant/general management role.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and performance optimization.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands‑on approach to operational challenges.
• High level of integrity, with a focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.
