Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp (PMGSEAC) is seeking an Accountant for a full-time, onsite role that supports the Accounting Manager in day-to-day operations. This position handles payroll, statutory benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and BIR compliance in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The Junior Accountant ensures accuracy in financial records and contributes to maintaining strong internal controls, while also assisting with financial reporting and system improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory benefits.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice prep, payments, and collections.
• Help prepare and file BIR reports and other government-mandated requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in internal control audits and implement corrective measures.
• Provide support in financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in system updates and improvements under the Accounting Manager.

The Accountant is a full-time, onsite role that supports the Accounting Manager in executing day-to-day accounting operations. This position is responsible for assisting with payroll, statutory benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. The Junior Accountant ensures accuracy in financial records and contributes to maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in processing payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory benefits.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and collections.
• Help prepare and file BIR reports and other government-mandated requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in internal control audits and help implement corrective measures when needed.
• Provide support in financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in system updates and improvements under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate to the role.
