Job summary

MSK Group Work, Inc. is currently in need of a Jr. Accountant to be assigned at Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The role requires 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. On-site position in Olongapo with relocation to Subic Bay Freeport Zone provided. The basic function is to maintain financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with laws, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is a plus.
• 2 to 5 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
• Willing to relocate to Subic Bay Freeport Zone (with company-provided accommodation).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, analysis, and verification of all financial and operating reports.
• Evaluate existing procedures for recording assets, liabilities, and financial transactions to determine methods for reducing time and cost of accounting operations.
• Recommend and/or installation of new or modified accounting procedures to manage financial data and prepare reports, ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately and up to date.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and local financial regulations.
• Directs the preparation of the company’s operating reports and financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and provide required documentation and reports.
• Performs other related duties as may be deemed necessary by the immediate superior

Primary Purpose of the Position

The basic function of this position is to maintain and examine financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, analysis, and verification of all financial and operating reports;
• Evaluate existing procedures for recording assets, liabilities, and financial transactions to determine methods for reducing time and cost of accounting operations, applying knowledge of advanced accounting techniques and business systems, and computer know-how and submit recommendations to the Management;
• Recommend and/or installation of new or modified accounting procedures to manage financial data and prepare reports, ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately and up to date;
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and local financial regulations;
• Directs the preparation of the company’s operating reports and financial statements;
