Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking an Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. The position supports the Accounting Manager in day-to-day operations, including payroll, AP/AR, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.

The Junior Accountant will help ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and timely system updates, while collaborating with a Global team to deliver reliable business support services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory benefits.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Help prepare and file BIR reports and other government-mandated requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in internal control audits and implement corrective measures when needed.
• Provide support in financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in system updates and improvements under the Accounting Manager.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate to the role.
