Job summary

HS Financial Technologies is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to lead a small team of Fund Accountants and oversee NAV calculations, reconciliations, and fund pricing. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to defined procedures within a hybrid work setup.

The candidate should have 3+ years in hedge fund administration, a related degree, and a drive to pursue professional accounting qualifications. Strong English communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in hedge fund administration or similar in a professional setting.
• Accounting/finance-related degree completed or in progress; professional qualifications pursued (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA) is advantageous.
• IT literacy and ability to use relevant software and systems; strong English communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt in a hybrid office environment.

Responsibilities

• Review cash, position and market value reconciliations.
• Resolve break items on reconciliations promptly.
• Review fund pricing and corporate actions.
• Review profit and loss reports for reasonableness.
• Review income and expense accruals including fee and trading accruals.
• Review fund trial balance and profit allocations to investors.
• Ensure compliance with internal checklists, procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve fund issues and meet deadlines.
• Mentor and develop Fund Accountants, monitoring performance and goals.
• Support audit processes and preparation of fund financial statements.
• Contribute to NAV team development and maintain high performance.
• Hybrid working arrangements – may involve time in office and at home.
