Job summary

HS Financial Technologies in the Philippines seeks a Fund Accounting Manager to oversee NAV calculations and client service under the guidance of the Fund Accounting Director and Managing Director. You will ensure timely, accurate NAV deliveries and support the development of client relationships within Hedge Fund Administration.

You will develop workflows, supervise a team of up to 10, review reconciliations, and contribute to fund audits and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Hedge Fund Administration, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree required.
• Intention to pursue a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is advantageous.
• IT literate; strong English communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships with Fund Accounting Director to ensure consistent service.
• Ensure fund accounting team operates within defined control environment.
• Lead and develop client teams of up to 10 employees.
• Resolve fund accounting enquiries escalated by supervisors.
• Ensure timely resolution of aged cash and position reconciliations.
• Review daily and monthly NAV calculations.
• Develop and improve NAV workflows and procedures.
• Review fee calculations and P&L allocations.
• Oversee audits and prepare fund financial statements.
• Investigate accounting implications of new products.
• Oversee client initialization and transition.
• Participate in development and delivery of fund accounting training.
• Manage recruitment, training and performance of the fund accounting team.
• Handle complex client calls and maintain relationships with related departments.
