HCGLOBAL RESOURCE (ASIA), INC. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional for middle and back-office functions in the Philippines.

The role involves collecting supporting documents, calculating fund pricing for Geneva clients, and recording daily trade activity into HC Global’s portfolio accounting system. You will prepare daily reconciliations, generate financial reports, and ensure appropriate allocation of fees and taxes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required.
• Fresh graduates and newly licensed CPAs welcome.
• Team player capable of working independently and in a group.
• Good business understanding of financial concepts and procedures.
• Analytical and very detail-oriented.
• Willingness to expand hours and work onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather information for recurring expenses and supporting documents (legal fees, audit fees, admin fees, tax fees, director’s fees, etc.).
• For Geneva clients, perform pricing of funds’ investments using external price sources.
• Upload daily trade transactions from prime broker FTPs and record in portfolio accounting.
• Prepare daily equity and, if needed, position and cash reconciliations; investigate breaks.
• Prepare and update financial reports (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, capital changes, allocations, etc.).
• Ensure correct monthly partners’ allocations and proper accounting of management and performance fees.
• Classify incomes and expenses for tax purposes; ensure accurate gross and net returns by partner.
• Prepare working papers and reporting packages; assist in audits and year-end schedules.
• Prepare accounting entries for Geneva clients and monitor client communications for timely support.
• Assist in coordinating annual audits and prepare audit working papers and schedules.
• Organize work, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
