Job summary

HC Global Fund Services, LLC in Makati City, Philippines, is seeking an Associate Accountant - Fund Administration for PH offices. You will perform middle and back office functions, handle daily trade uploads, reconciliations, and reporting for multiple funds.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accountancy (CPA/CA preferred) and at least 1 year in financial accounting; onsite work for the first six months, with potential for promotion and benefits such as health and life insurance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
CPA or CA certification is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in financial accounting or equivalent.
Must be a team player and able to work both independently and with a team.
Willingness to expand work hours as necessary to support business needs.

Responsibilities

Gather information from external statements, broker reports, and supporting documents.
Perform pricing for funds’ investments for Geneva clients using external prices.
Upload daily trades, dividends, and cash activities to portfolio accounting system.
Prepare daily equity reconciliations and, if required, position and cash reconciliations.
Prepare and update financial reports (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, etc.).
Ensure correct monthly partner allocations and appropriate treatment of management and performance fees.
Prepare accounting entries for Geneva clients and maintain supporting documentation.
Assist in coordinating annual audits and prepare working papers for auditors.
