Job summary

Fiber Home in Cebu City seeks an experienced Design Supervisor (Telco-FTTH) to lead the engineering design of FTTH networks. You will supervise design teams, review architecture, ensure standards compliance, and coordinate with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, maintain comprehensive design documentation, and stay current with FTTH technologies and industry practices to drive successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• At least 5+ years in telecommunications or FTTH design/deployment.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in engineering.
• Strong knowledge of FTTH architecture, PON and fibre systems.
• Familiarity with CAD and network planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design teams for FTTH network architecture, planning and specs.
• Review and approve design deliverables and installation specs.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with PMs, field teams and clients to translate needs into design solutions.
• Conduct design reviews and QA to resolve issues before implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff in design practices.
• Maintain documentation of design processes, standards and lessons learned.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure compatibility and performance of components.
• Monitor design-related schedules and budgets, flagging risks early.
• Stay updated on FTTH technologies and best practices.
