Job description

This role involves collaborating closely with the Process Improvement Specialist to facilitate the execution of global and local Process Development (PD) and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects within the legal domain. You will support comprehensive process analysis, documentation, and improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking, tailored to the specific nuances of legal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing global and local PD and CI projects from planning to completion using Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Design Thinking methodologies
• Prepare project essentials including project charters, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), communication plans, and kick-off meeting presentations
• Support current process performance analysis through process mapping workshops, root cause analysis, data collection, benchmarking, and metric analysis
• Coordinate with relevant legal teams to acquire or generate operational data and dashboards for process analysis
• Contribute to ideation, prioritization, and future state process mapping workshops
• Draft and refine implementation plans considering legal considerations and constraints
• Assist process owners in documenting and deploying improved legal processes
• Maintain Actions/Issues Log and coordinate with the project team
• Develop and deliver PD and CI training programs and workshops tailored for the legal industry
• Provide training on Process Documentation, Continuous Improvement methodologies, and Design Thinking customized for legal process improvement

About you

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any related course
• Internship experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Design Thinking methodologies
• Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools such as MS Visio
• Ability to work with legal teams and understand legal process requirements
• Strong project administration and coordination skills
• Capability to support training and workshop delivery
