Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) is seeking a Finance Specialist to handle financial reporting, analysis, and insights for strategic decision-making. You will generate reports, forecast cash flows, and work with other departments to evaluate opportunities and improvements in the business.

The role requires a 2+ year track record in financial reporting and planning, with CPA/CMA a plus and strong communication and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Finance/Banking related degree.
At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis.
CPA or CMA license is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Data analysis skills and proficiency in spreadsheets.
Knowledge of accounting standards and financial analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

Generates, evaluates, and presents financial reports for stakeholders to support proactive decisions.
Participates in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections to aid business planning and resource allocation.
Collaborates with other functions to evaluate financial opportunities, align assumptions, and assess potential returns or improvements.
