Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) in Ermita, Manila, is seeking an Accounting Specialist (Banking and Reconciliation) to join the Finance (Accounting) team. You will prepare monthly reconciliations of General Ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of accounting records, resolving discrepancies with cross‑functional departments.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accountancy or Banking/Finance, at least three years in finance or accounting, and proficiency in Excel or Google

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Banking/Finance required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in any Finance or Accounting function.
• CPA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the monthly reconciliations for General Ledger accounts (Cash on Hand, Cash in Bank, AP, AR, etc.).
• Analyzes and coordinates reconciling items with cross-functional departments and suggests adjustments.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of monthly and year-end closing entries.
• Identifies improvements to Accounting Systems, Policies, and Procedures and handles assigned projects.
