Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an FP&A Analyst in the Global Capability Center (GCC) to support budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting. The role emphasizes advanced analytics and data-driven insights for senior finance leaders.

Essential duties include variance analyses, profitability assessments, and tracking of new services and reimbursement models to optimize financial performance. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or healthcare is required.
• 1 year of FP&A experience is required.
• Experience in healthcare accounting and/or analysis; knowledge of third‑party reimbursement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Performs variance analysis and provides insights on profitability and cost allocations.
• Assesses profitability of new services, products, and reimbursement models.
• Supports net revenue reconciliation for month-end close and prepares management reports for the board.

Job Summary:

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at the Global Capability Center (GCC). Essential job functions include preparing budgets and financial forecasts, supporting and providing key insights to finance leadership, and conducting advanced reporting and analytics.

Essential Functions:

• Supports preparation and consolidation of periodic budgets, financial forecasts, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
• Performs variance analysis processes against budgets and forecasts, delivering actionable insights on profitability and cost allocations to optimize financial performance.
• Assists in the evaluation and tracking of new services, products, and reimbursement models to assess profitability and operational effectiveness.
• Provides data support for leadership to ensure accurate reconciliation of net revenue, informing the month-end close processes, and prepares comprehensive management reports for board review.
• Provides data support to inform strategic operational initiatives, ensuring advanced reporting and analytics to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance or Healthcare (required)

Experience:

• 1 year experience in FP&A (required)
• Experience in healthcare accounting and/or analysis; knowledge of third‑party reimbursement (preferred)

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office related products including Excel with graphics (i.e., charts & graphs), PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large sums of data using spreadsheet applications.
