About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Foundation Officer to join our Community Services & Development team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in generating financial resources and building strategic partnerships to support our community development initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing fundraising strategies that secure sustainable funding for our programs and projects. The Fundraising Development Officer will report to senior management and contribute directly to the organization\'s mission of creating positive social impact across the communities we serve.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, corporate sponsors and grant-making organizations to expand fundraising opportunities


• Develop compelling fundraising proposals, grant applications and donation requests tailored to the interests and priorities of individual and institutional donors


• Manage donor databases and maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions and engagement activities


• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events and initiatives designed to raise awareness and generate revenue for community development projects


• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising programs and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and feedback


• Prepare detailed reports on fundraising progress, donor metrics and financial outcomes for leadership and stakeholders


• Collaborate with program teams to articulate the impact and value proposition of community initiatives to potential funders


• Maintain compliance with fundraising regulations and ethical standards, ensuring all activities adhere to organizational policies and legal requirements

What we\'re looking for

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management or a related field


• Proven experience in fundraising, development, grant writing or donor relations, ideally within the community services or nonprofit sector


• Demonstrated ability to research and identify funding opportunities from various sources including grants, foundations, corporate sponsors and individual donors


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders


• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with proficiency in managing multiple fundraising initiatives simultaneously


• Proficiency in using database management systems and Microsoft Office applications


• Knowledge of the Philippine nonprofit landscape, grant-making organizations and fundraising best practices


• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and community partners
