Job summary

KER Systems & Solutions Corp. in the Philippines seeks a Formwork QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality, safety, and reliability of equipment and steel fabrication through inspections, testing, and QC processes.

You will supervise warehouse inspections at Santo Tomas, coordinate with Design, Sales, Warehouse, and Fabrication teams, and ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Engineer (PRC License required).
• 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in equipment inspection, steel fabrication, construction, or formwork/falsework.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, dimensional inspection, and QC.
• Experience in material and equipment testing, test coordination, and result evaluation.
• Formwork and falsework systems knowledge is an asset.
• Equipment inspection, damage assessment, and QC experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering/fabrication drawings and specs.

JOB SUMMARY

The Formwork QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of company equipment and steel fabrication activities through inspections, testing, and quality control processes. The role oversees warehouse-based equipment inspection, testing, returns, and fabrication activities while coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Engineer (PRC License required).
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, equipment inspection, steel fabrication, construction, or formwork and falsework.
• Knowledge and experience in steel fabrication, including fabrication processes, welding, dimensional inspection, and quality control.
• Experience in material and equipment testing, including preparation of test requirements, coordination of testing, monitoring of test procedures, and evaluation of test results.
• Knowledge of formwork and falsework systems, equipment, materials, and fabrication processes is an advantage.
• Experience in equipment inspection, damage assessment, material testing, and quality control is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail in identifying defects and quality issues.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, welding quality, and applicable engineering and safety standards.
• Good documentation, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work primarily at the Santo Tomas warehouse and supervise equipment inspection, testing, returns, and steel fabrication activities.
• Ability to coordinate with Design, Sales, Warehouse, and Fabrication teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining the quality, reliability, and safety of company equipment.
