Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies in the Philippines is seeking a Maintenance Officer – Food & Beverage to sustain and repair equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure across our restaurant outlets. You will ensure facilities and kitchen gear operate safely and in compliance with health and fire safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, kitchen appliances, electrical and plumbing systems, plus strong safety and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Formal degree in electromechanical, electrical, or mechanical engineering or diploma with relevant hands-on experience.
• Certifications in electrical safety, refrigeration, HVAC, or plumbing are highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in commercial kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, health, fire safety, and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment and HVAC systems.
• Perform timely repairs of malfunctioning electrical, plumbing, lighting, and fixtures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records for each location.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant/store managers to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs when needed.
• Ensure outlets are operational and safe before daily opening times.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health, and fire safety standards.
