Qualifications

• Graduate in engineering, preferably Industrial Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Experience with conveyor systems, boilers, compressed air, water and wastewater facilities.
• Knowledge in maintenance for production and utility equipment.
• Able to perform mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
• Capable of lifting at least 20 kg.
• Willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration, compressed air, power and steam systems.
• Provide mechanical services for installation of production and utility equipment.
• Gather equipment specifications and data for preventive maintenance and histories.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance and prepare benchmarking presentations.
• Perform corrective maintenance and analyze equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and maintenance programs.
• Suggest continuous improvements for production line equipment efficiency.
• Keep all operating systems in optimal condition.
• Prioritize safety for personnel, materials, products, equipment and tools.

About the role

The Facilities Engineer (Engineering Technician) is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs of refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, power systems, steam systems, and preventive maintenance activities. This role provides mechanical technical services necessary for the installation of production, utility, and other support equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and conduct repairs of refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, power systems, steam systems, and preventive maintenance activities
• Provide mechanical technical services necessary for the installation of production, utility, and other support equipment
• Gather equipment specifications such as model, serial number, power rating, and compile all necessary data for preventive maintenance programs and equipment histories
• Conduct regular preventive and predictive maintenance, including condition monitoring, and prepare graphical presentations for benchmarking and analysis
• Perform corrective maintenance, technical analysis of equipment failures, installation of mechanical equipment, and execute load testing
• Ensure compliance with company rules, SOPs, and maintenance program enhancements
• Implement and provide suggestions for continuous improvement of equipment in the production line to achieve maximum efficiency
• Ensure all operating systems are in tip-top operating condition
• Prioritize safety in their area, ensuring the safety of personnel, materials, products, equipment, tools, and other company properties to prevent Lost Time Accidents

About you

• Graduate of any Engineering course, preferably Industrial Technology.
• At least one (1) year of experience in the food, FMCG, or any similar manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Operations, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance of Conveyor Systems, Steam Boilers and Auxiliaries, Compressed Air Systems, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and Water Treatment Facilities.
• Knowledgeable in maintenance work related to production and utility equipment, preferably in a food manufacturing company.
• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Works.
• Able to lift at least 20kg of weight.
• Willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna.
