Overview
A Food Attendant is responsible for ensuring customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Their primary role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders and ensure accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen or bar.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of food.
- Refill drinks and clear empty plates from the table.
- Clean and set tables before and after each service.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas and kitchen workstations.
- Wash and sanitize glasses, utensils, and plates as needed.
- Ensure sufficient supplies of food and beverage items are available.
- Notify supervisors about low stock levels or any items that need to be restocked.
- Process customer payments accurately.
- Operate a cash register or point-of-sale system to track and manage transactions.
