YTO EXPRESS in the Philippines is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee daily fleet operations, assign vehicles, ensure dispatch readiness, and optimize utilization across branches.
You will monitor vehicle condition, coordinate maintenance, manage documents and fuel usage, and report on performance and costs, while leading drivers and staff to uphold safety standards.
Supervise daily fleet operations, including vehicle assignment, dispatch readiness, utilization, and availability.
Monitor the condition, performance, and operational status of company vehicles.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections, and servicing of vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with required safety and regulatory standards.
Monitor vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and other fleet-related documents.
Maintain accurate and updated records of vehicle assignments, maintenance history, fuel consumption, mileage, repairs, and incidents.
Monitor fuel consumption and investigate unusual or excessive fuel usage.
Coordinate with mechanics, drivers, branches, vendors, and service providers regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Conduct regular fleet inspections and ensure identified defects are properly addressed.
Monitor vehicle downtime and recommend actions to minimize operational disruptions.
Investigate and document vehicle-related accidents, damages, breakdowns, and other incidents.
Ensure proper implementation of fleet policies, procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
Monitor driver compliance with vehicle care, safety, and operational procedures.
Prepare regular fleet performance, maintenance, cost, and utilization reports.
Recommend fleet improvements, replacement, disposal, or acquisition of vehicles based on operational requirements and vehicle condition.
Support cost-control initiatives related to fuel, repairs, maintenance, and fleet operations.
Perform other fleet-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or vehicle operations.
Experience supervising drivers, mechanics, fleet staff, or transportation personnel is preferred.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance schedules, and fleet operations.
Familiarity with vehicle registration, insurance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Willing to conduct field visits and monitor fleet operations across branches or hubs.
Must be dependable, proactive, and able to handle multiple operational concerns.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
