Role Description

The Fleet Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of company vehicles and transport-related activities. The specialist monitors vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, PMS, repairs and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, coordinating with drivers, service providers, and internal stakeholders. The Fleet Operations Specialist contributes to continuous improvement in fleet processes to optimize reliability, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.

Qualifications

• - Strong knowledge of fleet management and operations, including vehicle monitoring, scheduling, dispatch coordination, and fleet utilization.
• - Thorough understanding of vehicle systems, mechanical components, and troubleshooting, with the ability to identify potential vehicle problems, assess reported defects, conduct initial diagnosis, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with mechanics or service providers.
• - Knowledge of preventive maintenance, vehicle repair processes, road safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• - Strong organizational and administrative skills, particularly in documentation, vehicle records management, monitoring, and operational reporting.
• - Analytical skills in monitoring fleet performance, fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and overall operational expenses.
• - Effective communication and interpersonal skills in coordinating with drivers, mechanics, vendors, service providers, and internal departments.
• - Ability to work on-site in Metro Manila and efficiently manage time-sensitive operational requirements.
• - Relevant experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, automotive operations, or related fields is an advantage.
• - Bachelor's degree in any field. An Automotive Technology certificate or other relevant automotive-related certification is an advantage.
