Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of the company’s Land Base Equipment fleet. The role coordinates daily transport operations, fleet utilization, inventory and fuel monitoring, preventive maintenance, and cost control.

You will monitor trips, assign deliveries to trucks, and coordinate with drivers, clients, suppliers and internal teams to keep schedules, vehicle availability and service levels on

Qualifications

• At least College Undergraduate qualification.
• Transport experience preferred but not required, preferably with 1 year experience.
• Basic understanding of how trucking and transport works.
• Willing to learn.
• Basic knowledge in computer; able to use Excel and email messaging.
• Can communicate clearly with drivers, customers and co-workers.
• Can handle simple daily problems and knows when to escalate.
• Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with drivers, clients, technical teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders regarding schedules, dispatch updates, vehicle availability, and service requirements.
• Assist in monitoring drivers and helpers.
• Promote safe-driving and proper cargo-handling practices.
• Monitor compliance with operational procedures.
• Support the Transport Operations Supervisor in maintaining fleet availability, timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and overall operational performance.

The role coordinates daily transport operations, fleet utilization, parts requisition and purchasing, inventory and fuel monitoring, preventive maintenance, breakdown and repair tracking, and maintenance cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with drivers, clients, technical teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders regarding schedules, dispatch updates, vehicle availability, and service requirements
