Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support a Land Base Equipment fleet in Cagayan de Oro. You will coordinate daily transport operations, fleet utilization, maintenance tracking, and cost control while promoting safe driving and efficiency.

The role requires basic computer skills (Excel and email) and strong communication abilities to work with drivers, clients, and internal teams. College undergraduate qualification is expected.

Qualifications

• At least college undergraduate qualification.
• Transport experience preferred but not required, ideally 1 year.
• Basic understanding of how trucking and transport works.
• Willing to learn and grow in the role.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily trips and vehicle movements.
• Assign deliveries to suitable and available trucks.
• Coordinate with drivers, clients, technical teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding schedules, dispatch updates, vehicle availability, and service requirements.
• Assist in monitoring drivers and helpers.
• Promote safe-driving and proper cargo-handling practices.
• Monitor compliance with operational procedures.
• Support the Transport Operations Supervisor in maintaining fleet availability, timely deliveries, cost efficiency and overall performance.

About the role

The Transport Coordinator supports the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of the company's Land Base Equipment (LBE) fleet. The role coordinates daily transport operations, fleet utilization, parts requisition and purchasing, inventory and fuel monitoring, preventive maintenance, breakdown and repair tracking, and maintenance cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily trips and vehicle movements

• Assign deliveries to suitable and available trucks

• Coordinate with drivers, clients, technical teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders regarding schedules, dispatch updates, vehicle availability, and service requirements

• Assist in monitoring drivers and helpers

• Promote safe-driving and proper cargo-handling practices

• Monitor compliance with operational procedures

• Support the Transport Operations Supervisor in maintaining fleet availability, timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and overall operational performance

About you

• At least College Undergraduate qualification

• Transport experience preferred but not required, preferably with 1 year experience

• Basic understanding of how trucking and transport works

• Can communicate clearly with drivers, customers and co-workers
