Job summary

SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is seeking a Fixed Asset Specialist to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of fixed asset operations. You will manage FA modules, process transactions, perform month-end closings and assist audits.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 1+ year in Fixed Assets, solid accounting knowledge, experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and strong Excel skills, plus English proficiency and deadline

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
1+ years of professional experience in Fixed Assets is required.
General knowledge of accounting rules is required.
Experience in financial systems (Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus).
Excel is at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

Maintaining Fixed Asset modules.
Processing Fixed Asset transactions and data entry for additions, capitalizations, retirement, changes.
Performing regular analyses of FA account variances and FA reconciliation.
Ensuring there are no outstanding transactions before closing.
Performing Fixed Asset Month End closing with deadlines.
Providing reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
Assisting with KPI preparation and ad hoc requests.
